1. Overview
Typeflows is closed-source commercial software provided free of charge during the beta period for evaluation and feedback. This License applies until the official release (v1.0.0).
2. Beta License Grant
During the beta period, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software as follows:
- Open source, academic, personal, and non-profit use: Permitted without restriction, including production use, and continues to be free after v1.0.0
- Commercial use: Evaluation and testing purposes only (no production or revenue-generating use)
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Repackage, resell, sublicense, or distribute it
- Use it to develop a competing product or service
- Remove or alter attribution, branding, or license notices
3. Source Code and Intellectual Property
The software is provided only in compiled/binary form. No source code is provided or licensed.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the software remain the exclusive property of Typeflows. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this License.
4. Post-Beta Licensing (v1.0.0+)
When Typeflows v1.0.0 is released:
- Always free: Open source projects (OSI-approved licenses), academic research, personal projects, and non-profit organizations
- Commercial license required: All business and revenue-generating use
Beta users will receive advance notice and preferential pricing before commercial licensing begins.
5. Beta Software Disclaimer
This software is pre-release and may contain defects or incomplete features. It is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Use is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are disclaimed.
Typeflows is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use.
6. Feedback and Data Collection
- By submitting feedback, you grant Typeflows a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation
- We may collect usage analytics and crash reports to improve the software
- We do not collect proprietary code or sensitive data (see Privacy Policy)
7. Termination
This License terminates if:
- The beta period ends (upon v1.0.0 release), unless you obtain appropriate licensing
- You violate any terms of this agreement
- Typeflows revokes access with 14 days’ written notice (e.g., via email to the address associated with your account)
Upon termination, you must cease all use unless you obtain an appropriate license.
8. Governing Law
This License is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Acceptance
By using the software, you agree to these terms.
